Exmouth town U15s made it three straight wins after beating St Martins at Warren View.

The visitors created several early chances but debutant goalkeeper Ewan Plain dealt with them competently. Exmouth gradually took control of proceedings and deservedly went ahead when Kai MacManus teed up Tommy Barrow for the opening goal.

A tremendous 40-yard pass from Nathan Briggs provided Barrow with his second of the day but Exmouth had to hold firm in the closing stages after a late goal gave St Martins hope of pinching a point.

Coach Skinner commended his new ‘keeper after the game and had huge praise for captain Tommy Barrow, who led from the front and was like a 'warrior' out there.

The back four of Standen, Robinson, Howard and Briggs all played well, while substitutes Holden Pannell and debutant Harry Blanchard looked impressive, as did the core of Town’s midfield of MacManus and Leo French.
