Exmouth Harriers were out in force in the challenging Woodbury Common 10km Trail Run on Sunday, with 20 club members dominating the event.
Sam Kelly (38.29) & Simon Minting (42.42) were 1st & 2nd overall with Alice Kelly (46.50) and Dana Kalin (54.07) 1st & 2nd Women finishers. The event was superbly hosted by Budleigh Salterton Lions Club started and finished at Withycombe Raleigh Football pitches; the course was over a single loop with fabulous trails.
Well done to Sam Kelly, Simon Minting, Scott Jamieson, Alice Kelly, Matt Harrison, Mike Musgrove, Jimmy Joy, Craig Butler, David Snook, Adrian Barton, Dana Kalin, Terry McKie, Alice Thomas, Paula Hawkins, Nicola Kelly, Emily Kelly, Harriet Lyons, Kay Douglas, Liz Michaelson and Kevin Lingard.
Also on Sunday, Oli White raced in the Bridgwater 1/2 Marathon as part of his preparation for the Berlin Marathon on September 24. Oli was 2nd overall in 1.14.26 out of 346 finishers.
