East Budleigh Football Club held their presentation evening last week with Dan Atkinson sweeping the board for the second team. He received the top awards Manager’s Player and Players’ Player of the Season, as well as finishing top goal-scorer, writes Mark Auton.
For the first-team, the Manager’s Player of the Season was Adam Wilkinson. The coveted Players’ Player prize was won by Guy Laverock and top goal-scorer was Rian Hill.
Training for the new season is every Wednesday at 6.30pm at the pitch at Vicarage Road. Old and new players welcome to join this family friendly club. Please call Matt Jones on 07789 883126 for first-team details and Alan Palmer on 07801 286475 for the seconds.
East Budleigh will compete in Division 1 of the Devon & Exeter League this season, while the seconds take their place in Division 3, as the football fever begins to return at clubs across the region.
