Exmouth Rugby Club has announced Simon Tate as the new manager of the Colts team, progressing with his age grade juniors through to the successful U16 boys team and now the Colts.
The Cockles Colts will return from pre-season training in July under the guidance of the Exmouth RFC coaching team, led by club head coach Steve Perry and his team.
Down the road at Withycombe RFC, the annual Ben TC Memorial Game was another superb success, with some fabulous rugby on display from both sides and a packed crowd soaked up the spring sunshine. The club also raised some important funds in aid of Devon Air Ambulance.
The next generation of Withy talent earned recognition with selection for the Exeter Chiefs Academy fixture against Bath. Congratulations to Bobby Pond and Adam Watts, two talented young players from an exciting crop coming through the ranks.
