Budleigh Bowls Club hosted the final two indoor sessions of the year for members of the Exmouth branch of U3A.
In the morning session, 20 bowlers played a Round Robin competition in teams of four players. After a total of 20 Ends, with all the teams having played each other, the winning team by the narrowest of margins were Lyn Holmes, Sue Davies, Mo Hibell and Richard Workman.
In the afternoon, 12 bowlers played a Triples competition and the team of Hilary Drew. Clive Paul and Mike Turff came away the victors.
Lyn Holmes, the Deputy Chair of the u3a Exmouth and District branch, commented: “I would like to thank Budleigh Bowls Club for hosting Exmouth bowls groups and it has proved to be very popular and enjoyable. I would like to thank Tony Mackness, Mike Clark and Tony Lim for all their help each week."
