Budleigh Bowls Club have held the Finals of their Indoor internal competitions, starting with John Dill defeating David Roberts 16-11 in the Mens 2 Wood Final.
The following day saw John continue with his winning streak when he met Paul Griffin in the 4 Wood Finals and after 21 Ends, John was the winner 21-13.
Mo Bond met Margaret Avery in the final of the ladies 2 Wood Competition. Amazingly, after 21 Ends, the scores were level at 14 shots each. A shoot-out then followed and Mo Bond ended up the winner, 15-14.
Margaret was on the Rinks again on Saturday afternoon when she played Melissa Camp in the Ladies 4 Wood Finals, with Melissa winning 22-14. Earlier in the week, Margaret had beaten Mo Bond in the 106 Competition Final by 109-56.
Club captain Tony Mackness said: "These games were the culmination of a most successful season for the Club and I would like to take the opportunity to thank the Markers of these Finals - Andy Skudder, Marilyn Foreman, Gwen Hurst and Mo Bond - and all the Members who entered the competitions. We are all looking forward to the start of the Outdoor Season on April 17."
