Local boxing is thriving after the turbulent Covid years, with boxers from Exmouth ABC and their Lympstone neighbours enjoying some great results.
Team Exmouth ABC travelled to Norton Radstock with one of their juniors, Tristan Dignam, competing in the Western Counties Junior Championships. Tristan came out as the winner with a fantastic performance and now moves on to the Pre-Quarter Finals in Kent this weekend.
Lympstone boxers Tommy Barrow and Max Wilkinson both recorded superb victories at the Bournemouth Body Snatchers Show, while Louis Silk defeated the current Haringey Boxing Cup champion in Birmingham.
A big date for the boxing diary in Saturday, April 15, when Exmouth ABC will be hosting a night of Club and County at the Ocean Suite. Billed as a battle between Devon and Cornwall, the doors open at 6.30pm and more details can be found on the Exmouth ABC Facebook page.
