When Exmouth Town won promotion to the Southern League last year, the elevation to a new level in the football pyramid came with added responsibilities.
The club was required to undertake a number of tasks at the Circle of Care Community Stadium to ensure the ground met with the grading stipulations in the Southern League.
In addition to any League requirements, the team behind the scenes at Exmouth Town has always been committed to improving facilities, ensuring the best possible match-day experience for supporters.
The list of jobs around the stadium has included the installation of covered seating for a minimum of 150 supporters, alongside standing areas.
The club and its volunteers is also working on a hard-standing area for ambulance access, a dedicated medical room, outside toilets for a match-day, changing room upgrades and improvements to the Mel Pym Stand. You can also help out by visiting the GoFundMe page ‘Stand Up for the Town’.
