The Exmouth Netball League was treated to a classic, when the Exe Jets edged past the Tigers in a thrilling local clash.
After a tight first quarter, and with Tigers goal attack Christina Moore scoring at every opportunity, it went into the second quarter as 9-11 to Exe Jets.
In the second and third quarters, Exe Jets started to settle and pull away and once the ball got through Tigers defence, Exe Jets goal attack Jaz Tuckett and goal shooter Anna Lang were able to increase the lead and go into the final quarter at 23-30 to Exe Jets.
The last quarter was end to end with both teams able to turn over a number of centre passes and there was also some excellent defence on display. The final score ended 31-40 to Exe Jets with Players of the Match going to Letty Lunan (Tigers) and Jaz Tuckett (Exe Jets).
