The Madeira Open Day on Saturday was a huge success.
Over 30 people came along to the club to try their hand at bowls. Club coach Chris Reed, along with Andy Lock, Dee Williams, John Sweetman, Susie Roughton, Sylvie and Ron Cook, Sue and Lawrie Humphries, Janine Orchard and Jude Latta were certainly kept busy.
Everyone who came said they had enjoyed themselves, with the considerable number saying they would like to come along to coaching – in view of the numbers it is possible that an additional evening for coaching may be offered.
Anyone missing the Open Day, who would like the opportunity to try out indoor bowling should come to Madeira BC at 4.30pm on any Friday – Chris Reed would be very pleased to welcome you.
