THE finals of the week-long LTA International Tournament in Exmouth had to be resheduled as one of the competitors had a plane to catch!Traditionally, doubles finals are the last on court at major competitions, but not in Exmouth, at least not this time.Doubles finalist Henry Kontinen, who partned fellow Finn Harri Heliovaara to victory, was wanted back in Helsinki to prepare for a Davis Cup tie against South Africa.The singles final was played last. In it, Josh Goodall from Basingstoke defeated Conor Niland from Northern Ireland.A prize pot of $10,000 was up for grabs between the singles and doubles finalists.Players came from all over Europe, including as far as the Ukraine, to take part.
