Despite his tender age, Jake Haggerty celebrated an incredible 200th game for the Brixington Blues by helping the Under-16s to a 2-1 win over Sidmouth in the first round of the Devon Cup.
Both sides created chances in a frantic opening, with Haggerty involved in a move that finished with a narrow miss from Jack Drew-Cull.
Russ Bracey made a fine save for the Blues but was then beaten by a fine goal from the visitors.
Brixington responded superbly to the setback, drawing level when Drew-Cull released Oliver Bradley for an emphatic strike before half-time.
Oscar Gaunt twice went close for the hosts but there was a perfect symmetry to the winner, as Haggerty, who expressed his pride at representing the club after the game, provided a sublime pass for Makan Coulibaly to force his way past the Sidmouth defence and slot home a dramatic winner.
The Blues will play Cullompton in the next round.
