Brixington Blues Under-11s reached the semi-finals of the Devon Cup after an excellent 3-0 win over Alphington.
A clever pass from Oliver Morgan released Rudi Wilkinson for an early advantage and confident goalkeeping from Oscar Trump, aided by the backline of Ren Woodhall, Lucas Hill and Riley West ensured that lead was retained at half-time.
As the game entered a tense closing phase, a fabulous cross from Henry Turner was turned in by Morgan, and the win was confirmed by Turner after a lovely pass from West.
Birxington Under-14s continued the winning theme with an excellent 3-2 triumph at CS Cobras.
After a blank first period, the game burst into life with a fine first-time finish from Adam Paramore. The Cobras fought back to take a 2-1 lead before an inspired finale from the Blues.
Noah Bassett volleyed home a Corey Sanders corner for the equaliser and Evan Slater won it with a sweet strike.
