LOCAL police community support officers are inviting youngsters and parents to get their bikes marked to prevent thefts.
Parents and children can get their bikes engraved with their postcode as part of a local initiative to deter bike thieves.
Police officers will be on-hand on Tuesday, February 10, at Lympstone Primary School, from 3.30pm to 5pm and in Clyst St Mary Primary School on Wednesday, February 11, at the same time.
They will also be handing out leaflets with their bike information to keep at home and crime prevention stickers to put on their bikes.
