Youngsters put down their books to celebrate the end of a summer reading challenge at Exmouth Community College.
Children had their book reading efforts over the summer rewarded with a party that saw them congratulated with certificates and medals.
The summer reading challenge is an annual event held by Exmouth Library, which encourages children to read six books during their holidays. Around 600 children took part in the Roald Dahl-themed event. Holly Armstrong, an organiser for the event, said: “It was really lovely seeing all the children get their certificates and medals.”
