I would like to thank everyone who responded to my request of some weeks ago asking for donations of knitting wool for the East Budleigh 'Square Circle' knitting group. We have had offers of wool pouring in from all quarters and now have enough to keep us going through the coming winter. From next month, when we meet again, our needles will be clicking away, making up blanket squares and items of children's clothing to go out to help the poverty-stricken people of the east European country of Moldova survive the harsh winter weather. However, we would not refuse any further offers, so anyone with unwanted left-over knitting wool looking for a good home, contact Janet Lovett on (01395) 443141. Barbara Watson(by email)
