The WooHoo exhibition, being held at Ocean, in The Esplanade, is themed around humour and making people laugh.
An art exhibition being held in Exmouth with the intention of making people laugh continues this weekend.
Anna Fitzgerald, of Sea Dog Art, has been hosting the WooHoo exhibition, at Ocean, in The Esplanade, this week which will continue through until Sunday (March 11).
More than 800 people have already been through the door in the first two days to visit the free display which focuses on humour and making people smile with contributing artists coming from across the world.
Anna said an invitational launch event, held the night before the exhibition opened, was a ‘roaring’ success and the event has gone from strength to strength since then.
An artist known as ‘Red’ from the Little Red Gallery, who is exhibiting some of her work at the WooHoo event, said: “I have curated and hosted more than 50 exhibitions in London and across Cornwall in the last five years. WooHoo is above and beyond anything I have ever achieved.
“The range of activities throughout the week is a massive gift to the community - such diversity and quality.
“The artwork itself is of an unbelievable high standard and will have you holding your sides belly laughing and in awe of the imagination of these wonderful artists.
“This is just what Exmouth needs: quality, humour bringing light to the dark storms of the winter, collaboration and passion.
“WooHoo has all this in bags. I am so proud to be a part of it.”
The exhibition is open from 10am until 11pm on Saturday and Sunday with a number of workshops from artists planned.
