ENVIRONMENTLY-conscious children from Woodbury Primary School created a giant footprint to display in their playground as part of the first Green Britain Day.
Pupils of the school, on Castle Lane, and their parents, were keen to lend their support to the campaign which aims to help people reduce Britain's carbon footprint by 2012.
Children and staff also wore green socks and nail varnish last Friday as a sign of them backing the initiative.
Green Britain Day aims to be a focal point for people to take action towards a more sustainable eco-friendly lifestyle.
