CHILDREN from Woodbury Salterton Primary School organised a day of activities to celebrate the work of best-selling author Roald Dahl.
Pupils dressed up as some of his fictitious characters, wrote book reviews and made some of his 'revolting recipes.'
Sally McClofkey, headteacher at Woodbury Salterton, said the day was held as part of a project studying the work of authors.
She said: "It was a wonderful day. The children just adored it and were so excited.
"We were especially proud of our year six children who organised the day so well.
