WOODBURY police are appealing for parents to keep an eye on their children after vandals targeted the community scout and guide hut.
WOODBURY police are appealing for parents to keep an eye on their children after vandals targeted the community scout and guide hut.
The hut has been hit three times within the last two months - having its windows smashed, the window grills forced off and the garage roof damaged.
Woodbury police community support officer Donna Baker is keen to hear from anyone with information about the vandalism.
She said: "This vandalism costs the scouting group a lot of concern and money.
"Children of ages seven to 14 enjoy their weekly meetings at the club house in the recreation ground.
"Sadly there are a few selfish people in Woodbury who want to spoil the enjoyment of others by vandalising the hut when it is empty."
