PLANS for the construction of an office building gained the support of Woodbury Parish Council.
Councillors said they had no objections for calls to construct the timber building on land west of Venmore Farm, located near Gilbrook and the B3179.
The planned office will be used by Dartmoor Tree Surgeons, a Woodbury-based company.
Venmoor Farm's yard is currently used for the operational side of the business which includes the storage of vehicles and plant and machinery apparatus.
The management and administration side of the company is based in a home office more than half a mile away in Woodbury.
The growth of the business resulted in the applicant's need for a dedicated office that would be separate from a domestic environment.
