AN APPLICATION to make a bungalow at Little Oaks, in Green Lane, into a two-storey house has received the backing of Woodbury Parish Council.
Councillors at a parish council meeting held in the Village Hall last Monday, October 26, supported the proposals.
The same applicants, in separate plans, have also submitted an application for the construction of a replacement dwelling at Upway, Green Lane, and linked triple garage.
Cllr Reg Brown said there were fears such a development would be an intrusion into open countryside, but added: "I think it is a good scheme."
Councillors back the plans but with conditions.
