Wonderful friend
How sad for Exmouth to lose such a wonderful friend. Garth Gibson was the character everyone recognised, a great ambassador for East Devon and especially Exmouth.

He was a man who had time for everyone; he supported all our clubs, societies, churches and events - if Garth wasn't there, something was definitely missing.
I was lucky enough to meet Garth on many occasions, but I have to say the one I will always remember is the day he auditioned for our company (formerly Exmouth Amateur Operatic Society), that, however, is another story.
Our thoughts at this time are with his wife, Marjorie, and the family. Thank you for sharing him with us all.
