Woman taken to hospital after Exmouth collision

A woman has been hospitalised after a road traffic collision in Exmouth.

The incident happened yesterday in St Johns Road at around 3pm, and involved two vehicles, leaving a woman trapped in one of them.

Fire crews attended and used hydraulic cutting equipment to release the woman, who was taken to hospital via ambulance with shoulder injuries.

Two other patients, described as ‘walking wounded’, were also treated at the scene.
