Woman injured after collision involving car and shop window

A woman has been treated for injuries after a collision involving a car and a shop window in Exmouth this morning (Thursday, August 23).

The Journal understands that a car was involved in the incident with fish and chip shop in Brixington Parade some time this morning.

Police and paramedics are on the scene.

Devon and Cornwall Police say a woman, believed to be in her 70s, is being treated for minor injuries by ambulance staff. Fire crews are also en route.

A South Western Ambulance Service spokesperson said they were called out at around 9.30am this morning and a woman was treated at the scene.

Police officers are awaiting recovery of the vehicle.
