Sarah Jane Dean, 25, of Bolton Hall Road, Bradford, was spotted driving a Hyundai Atoz in the Clinton Arms car park while almost twice over the legal drink-drive limit.

Magistrates heard Dean, who does not hold a valid licence, climbed behind the wheel and reversed it into a parked Audi during a visit to Devon to see her grandfather.

Dean agreed to attend a drink-drive course offered by the court.

She was also told to pay a £15 victim surcharge.
