A HEALTH worker has praised the efforts of a free stop-smoking advice centre in Withycombe to help people kick the habit.
The clinic is based the Withycombe Centre on Tuesdays from 1pm to 3pm.
Erika Treen, a stop smoking advisor for NHS Devon said: "The clinic is going really well with referrals coming from, among others, midwives, the national helpline, GPS and smokers who want to stop.
"It is becoming an increasingly popular clinic due to its location and the time of day that it runs."
One-to-one support for smokers is offered. People can book an appointment by calling 01884 836 024 or 07891 999 197.
