Children from Withycombe Raleigh Primary School are set to feature on a music single and video.

Laurie Lewin came to the school to record and film the pupils singing Listen To Us as part of the Voices Around the World project.

The single and video will feature the youngsters alongside those from other choirs from around the globe. The song will be released in July.

Voices Around the World is a free project for schools and youth organisations, which aims to link up young people all around the globe and help them to sing out, speak out and change the world.

Senior teacher Gill Chalkley said: “Not only did they sing brilliantly, but they also put together a fantastic dance routine to support the lyrics.

“I’m really proud of the choir and their hard work during rehearsals definitely paid off. They can’t wait for the single to be released.”
