FREE workshops on feeding are wild birds over the winter are being held by an Exmouth pet store this weekend.
Pets at Home at Liverton Business Park say with more than 52 species of birds in danger of extinction it is important to educate customers of the different needs of wild birds, how their diet should change with the seasons and which species most need help and at what times.
Store manager, Nicholas Duckett, said: "Our store teams are trained to provide advice on the best way to care for all kinds of pets and through these workshops we hope we'll be doing our bit for the wildlife of Exmouth too.
"It's fantastic to think we can help teach the next generation to respect the nature on their doorstep."
The workshops will run January 9-10 from 2pm
