A LUXURY Waitrose hamper full of fine food will be winging its way to Steve Parks, in Lincoln Close, who is the winner of this year's Journal Christmas house light competition.

With more than 1,000 lights on the roof and over 3,000 lights decorating a tree in the garden, and the display in aid of the RNLI, the illuminated home shone out as the clear winner.

Littleham couple Mr and Mrs West, of Littleham Road, who were nominated by neighbour Gill Gegg, are to receive a £10 gift voucher runner-up prize for their illuminated display, which judges decided gets bigger and brighter every year.

The Journal would like to thank everyone who entered this year's competition and everyone who nominated homes for judging.
