BUDLEIGH Salterton Lions Club is offering keen golfers a car to win for a hole-in-one while raising much-needed funds for African orphans with HIV and Aids.The car is up for grabs to golfers who enter the Lions' charity golf day on August 28 in aid of the League of Friends of The Good Shepherd Hospital in Swaziland - the Lions' adopted charity.The Lions recently raised almost £900 for the hospital but its fundraising is ongoing.The charity golf day is sponsored by local businesses, starts at 9am, and every team will receive a miniature bottle of Plymouth Gin, a golf ball provided by Palmers Funeral Service and some tees donated by Unichem Ltd. The money raised at the event will be used to send vital medical equipment to the hospital.
