During the day of entertainment and activities, visitors young and old learned more about the outdoors and its wildlife from the RSPB, the Devon Loves Dogs team and the Pebblebed Heaths Conservation Trust.
The day of outdoor fun was organised by East Devon District Council’s countryside team.
Families taking part in the outdoor event were encouraged to discover the nature living on their doorstep while learning about some of the organisations keen to promote Exmouth and East Devon’s wildlife and outdoor fun.
Councillor Tom Wright, East Devon District Council’s environment portfolio holder, said the event was a chance for families to explore one of Exmouth’s most popular green spaces and try their hand at natural crafts and wildlife activities. He hoped the day would encourage people to visit other nearby beauty spots.
