TOPSHAM firefighters were called to an Exminster residential home on Tuesday afternoon after reports an alarm was sounding.

TOPSHAM firefighters were called to an Exminster residential home in the early hours of this morning after reports an alarm was sounding.

The fire crew arrived at Pottles Court residential home, in Pottles Lane, at 3am where they found a small fire had broken out in a halogen heater.

The fire was out on the crew's arrival so they checked the heater and moved it outside.
