Coastal areas on flood alert.
Weather warnings are still in place across East Devon and West Dorset this morning (Friday).
There is a severe flood warning in force for low lying and exposed areas between Exmouth and Lyme Regis, which include the sea fronts of Seaton, Sidmouth, Exmouth, and Budleigh Salterton.
Flood alerts have been issued for the west coast of Dorset - including Lyme Regis and around the harbour, and Charmouth due to the extreme hightides coupled with gale force winds.
