Washed up boat at Exton belonged to Bicton College

A BOAT which broke free from its moorings was washed up on the riverbank at Exton on Thursday morning.

A BOAT which broke free from its moorings was washed up on the riverbank at Exton on Thursday morning.

Exmouth coastguards were tasked to recover the vessel just south of Exton railway station.

The washed-up boat was spotted by the Royal Marines from their base at Lympstone.

The vessel was found to belong to Bicton College, who retrieved it.
