EXMOUTH'S National Trust property A la Ronde is appealing for volunteers throughout the week to lend a hand from March until October.
The aim of the extra help is to bring the history of the 16-sided house to life.
To give prospective volunteers an idea of what is involved two open mornings are being held on Wednesday January 20 and Saturday January 23 from 10.30am, to have a chat over a cup of coffee to find out more.
House steward, Sarah Jane Kenyon, said: "Volunteering can be so rewarding and interesting.
"We are offering this opportunity to anyone interested to come along and have a chat with the staff and volunteers, in an informal setting."
Volunteers interested in taking on the role of room guides, conservation assistants and also those keen to research the history of A la Ronde are asked to get in touch.

A National Trust spokesperson said: "There is a social side to being a volunteer, as monthly coffee mornings and afternoon tea and talks are held on closed days, as well as outings.
"Some of our volunteers help in conservation work in the winter, updating room folders, in the office, with events and craft activities, in the shop and in the garden.
