VOLUNTEERS are needed to help out at the popular ferryman's swim event.
This year's swim takes place on Saturday, July 12, at 12noon. The event has become a traditional part of the Topsham summer season and is a major fundraiser for the Estuary League of Friends.
The charity would like to recruit volunteers to help check-in swimmers at the Passage House Inn and driving participants' clothes and bags from Topsham to the Turf.
This year's proceeds will go towards a replacement disability-friendly vehicle for the local community.
