An Exmouth charity is calling for volunteers - saying the need is 'more urgent than ever before'.

Age Concern recently moved into a new home in The Strand and is looking for helpers. The charity needs people to give a few hours a day to help out on reception.

New chief officer Gill Smith is also looking for people who have specialist skills who want to organise groups to allow them to share their knowledge.

She said: “We’re looking to expand the services at Age Concern within our new premises – the need for more volunteers is more urgent than ever before.”

Anyone interested in volunteering should pop in to Age Concern, Monday to Friday, between 10am and 3pm, or ring 07730 888838.
