Archant

Volunteers from South West Water have turned out to help give Exmouth’s underpass a makeover.

At the invitation of Exmouth Town Council, a team of volunteers turned up to paint the underpass, under Marine Way near Exmouth Leisure Centre.

The walls were painted white, ready for a new mural to be painted on them, the design for which artist Hayley Watson is working on with youngsters from local primary schools and East Devon District Council’s SWITCH youth service team. Wilsons Paints supplied paint and equipment.

Sophie O’Callaghan, of South West Water, said the team was pleased with what it had achieved.
