ORGANISERS of this year’s Budleigh Salterton Literary Festival are calling for volunteers to help out.
This year’s three day Literary Festival will take place from September 16 to 18 with some notable authors invited.
These include Michael Morpurgo, Hilary Mantel, Sir Roy Strong and Simon Hall alongside a diverse and full programme including many household names yet to be announced.
Bill McDermott said: “However, festivals do not run themselves and we are seeking to recruit volunteer members to our Committee to assist with a Press and Public Relations campaign, a Catering Manager to spearhead our support to the attending audiences, an imaginative individual to manage our Plinth activities (where individuals have an opportunity to speak for a short period on a subject in public. and we also need a Festival Secretary.”
The programme and tickets will be available from mid July.
