Villagers in Woodbury Salterton have again turned out to enjoy a hearty breakfast and raise vital funds for FORCE Cancer Charity.

The Great Devon Breakfast event, held at the village hall, saw around 150 residents served.

Norma Payne, who organised the event with her husband, Peter, said that around 20 volunteers had been cooking the breakfasts, and they had been very busy throughout the morning - with villagers at one point queuing out the door.

Norma said: “The breakfast went extremely well. We raised more than £1,000.”

Norma added that she and Peter would like to thank Dart Fresh and Kenniford Farm, who supplied produce, all the volunteers, and all the people who supported the event.
