ITEMS valued at more than �280 were stolen from a car which was broken into on an Exmouth street.
Police are appealing for information following the theft from a silver VW Golf vehicle between 3.20pm and 4.40pm last Wednesday, February 16. The car was parked in Imperial Road, adjacent to the Tourist Information Centre.
The rear nearside window was damaged in order to gain access. A computer bag and a number of music tuition books, valued at nearly �300 were taken.
Anyone who may have witnessed the theft or who may have information should call Devon and Cornwall police, quoting the crime reference number KE/11/464, on 08452 777444.
