Adverse weather conditions are continuing to have an affect on Exmouth’s roads.

Due to the culmination of rain over the last 24 hours and storm Angus over the weekend, some routes in and out of town are being affected.

The A376 north bound has now been closed due to surface water and it was reported that two lanes at the traffic lights near Winslade Park were under water.

An amber weather warning issued yesterday urging people to be prepared for flooding, will be in place until the end of the day.

Some Exmouth residents took to social media today to warn people that the Woodbury Common road, the B3180, was ‘inpassable’ by most vehicles.

Another warned that the drains in The Colony were starting to ‘back up’ due to the excess water.
