Topsham pubgoers are convinced they saw Prince Harry enjoying a night out with friends in the town on Wednesday evening
Onlookers enjoying a quiet drink out in Topsham were stunned to see Prince Harry laughing and joking with friends on Wednesday evening.
Word spread like wildfire through social media as shocked users turned to Twitter and Facebook to express their disbelief that the third in line to the throne was in the town.
An Exmouth man, 25, who did not want to be named, said he overheard the group talking about the infamous ‘Topsham Ten’ pub crawl.
Although the sightings remain unconfirmed by palace officials, those who saw the mixed group of young men and women were convinced it was the prince.
Mark Hatters tweeted: “I think I may have seen Prince Harry without realising it. “Apparently he’s in Topsham and I saw a fancy coach down by the Lighter.”
Estee Diment said on Facebook: “Can’t believe I saw Prince Harry in the Lighter Inn, looked at him turned to my sister and said ‘he looks like Prince Harry’, then walked straight past him thinking he was some average Joe!!!!!!!!!!!!”
