A PUBLIC meeting organised by the East Devon branch of the United Kingdom Independence Party is being held on Wednesday April 29 at Bicton College, East Budleigh.

The meeting, at 7.30pm, is ahead of the June 4 European elections and members of the public get the chance to quiz a series of high profile speakers.

These include candidates William, Earl of Dartmouth MEP, Trevor Colman MEP, Marta Andreasen, MEP Candidate and now UKIP Treasurer and the Malcolm Wood, organiser for the South West.

East Devon spokesman John Kelly said: "The Lisbon Treaty is still not ratified and we've been denied the promised referendum.

"A recent BBC Poll shows that 55 per cent of the people wish to leave the EU whilst maintaining trading links - that is exactly the policy that only UKIP holds.

"Come and hear the facts and question the speakers.
