A TRIAL of two young Exmouth men accused of causing thousands of pounds of vandalism will be heard in Exeter Crown Court.
Jamie Luxton, 18, of Salisbury Road, and Matthew Carter, 22, of Dukes Crescent, last week appeared before Exeter magistrates. Each denied 11 charges of criminal damage.
The alleged offences, totalling around �17,000, are said to have taken place in Exmouth between August 3 2009 and August 8 2009.
Exeter Road properties listed in the charges were: charity shop Sue Ryder, Specsavers, Nicholas Luke Hairdresser, Ali's Kebabs, Reynolds Butchers and Krispies fish and chip shop.
Spar in Withycombe Village Road, The Crusty Cob at Littleham Cross and a power sub station, at Bradham Lane, were also mentioned in the charges.
