POLICE have released the image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with an attempted murder in Wolverhampton.

POLICE have released the image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with an attempted murder in Wolverhampton.

Eugene Robinson, aged 20, is from the Derbyshire area.

The attempted murder took place in Burton Crescent, Heath Town on March 15 2008 when a 23-year-old man was stabbed at the address.

Detective Constable Lee Price, based at Wednesfield police station, said: "I would urge anybody who might know the whereabouts of this man to get in touch with us.

"We believe he has vital information regarding the attempt murder, and if anybody in the community has information on his whereabouts I would urge them to come forward.

"We appreciate that community members may be concerned about getting in touch with the police but we have provisions in place to protect anybody who can provide information."
