A 12-YEAR-old boy was rescued from a tree by Exmouth firefighters on Monday evening.

A 12-YEAR-old boy was rescued from a tree by Exmouth firefighters on Monday evening.

The young lad had been climbing trees with friends in Phear Park when he became stuck eight feet from the ground shortly after 6pm.

The youngster was encouraged down from the tree with the help of his friends and encouragement from the fire brigade.
