SUPER-FIT Littleham man Tim Fagan is running the equivalent of a marathon every day for seven days to raise funds for Exmouth RNLI, Stop Hunger and SAAFA - a charity supporting serving and ex-military personnel.Tim, 33, will next week begin running from John O'Groats to Land's End - hoping to cover 1,000 miles in seven days.Tim, who works for Sodexo Defence and is responsible for retail operations at Lympstone's Commando Training Centre, last year teamed up with six runners to trek 650 miles from Aldershot to Land's End and back again in five days in aid of the Stop Hunger anti-poverty campaign - the company's adopted charity - and the RNLI.This year the team has eight runners who will each spend an hour taking it in turns to run 25 miles a day in a relay until they reach their destination.Tim plans to donate half his sponsorship to Exmouth's RNLI in memory of his father Michael Fagan - an Exmouth RNLI district launching authority, who died in 2006. "It's going to be difficult running at night - especially after three days, when it's 3am. You are really tired, running up a hill and it's blowing a gale," said Tim. "I'm also going to miss my wife Sarah and my five-month-old son Louie, because it's the longest I will have been apart from him."l Tim can be sponsored by visiting http://www.easysponsorship.com/sponsor/timbfagan/landsend
