EXMOUTH has been visited by a man travelling from John O'Groats to Land's End in memory of his wife who died from breast cancer.Neil Jordan is aiming to raise £30,000 in aid of two cancer charities - as a tribute to his wife Linda - by walking, canoeing, sea-kayaking and cycling the length of the UK.He recently cycled through Exmouth to Berry Head on his way to Brixham."Devon is full of hills and I seem to have climbed most of them," he said.Neil, who was married for 32 years, undertook his Ride-Stride-Glide challenge to give his life 'purpose and meaning' after Linda died in June 2007. His quest includes conquering the Three Peaks: Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon.Neil dreamed up the personal challenge during a walk along the coastal path from St Ives to Penzance shortly after his wife's memorial service. He said the funds raised will be split between Sobell House Hospice, in Oxford, where Linda stayed during her illness, and Cancer Research UK.To follow Neil's progress, or to make a donation, visit: http://ridestrideglide.wordpress.com/
